Boat Ramps Near Skyway Bridge






If you have too, you can park along the streets near vinoy park, and have one person drive the boat over to pickup the person driving the car. a little trouble, but at least you are right there. this is one of the most central boat ramps to the center of tampa bay, and it takes about 20 minutes on a calm day to cruise down to the skyway bridge.. The public boat ramp situation is pretty bad, especially over on that side of the bay. the hi-n-dry situation isn't much better. the owners are selling them to be converted to waterfront condos and dock-o-miniums.. Maximo park is a natural area off of the last exit before the skyway bridge (exit 16). i has a boat ramp (free), frisbee golf course, children's play area, a small beach, and numerous picnic shelters..
