Port hadlock was the (mostly) perfect place to do it: less rolly anchorage than pt and with a wonderful organization we had just discovered — the community boat project. all it is sadly missing is parks or comfortable beaches that aren’t covered in fishing/crabbing gear this time of year.. The community building… boat-project the idea-seed of puget sound voyaging society (psvs) started with the puget sound explorers (pse) program of the wooden boat foundation of port townsend in 1993.. The community boat project program for high school students is located on the campus of the northwest school of wooden boatbuilding. nwswb students who volunteer for the community boat project can earn the opportunity to sail on the weekends guided by staff from the community boat project..

If you have too, you can park along the streets near vinoy park, and have one person drive the boat over to pickup the person driving the car. a little trouble, but at least you are right there. this is one of the most central boat ramps to the center of tampa bay, and it takes about 20 minutes on a calm day to cruise down to the skyway bridge..
